About Me

An Elevator Pitch

At a previous job, the running joke was that if somebody had a problem with something that runs on electricity, they would come to me. You can see that I started young and am still at it to this day. I've worn many hats, am always learning, and have the ability to tackle complex problems involving multiple technologies. Tech is not just a career for me, but also something that I'm constantly involved with on my own time.

Earlier in my career, I was primarily a full stack web developer and Linux sysadmin. More recently, my official title has been "Cybersecurity Specialist" meaning that I primarily do pentests and related IT security work. Lately, my focus has been on internal pentests with the occasional red/purple team engagement. I also do external and webapp tests and occasionally get to play around with mobile apps or a physical device as a welcome change of pace.

I've got my OSCP and CRTO I & II certifications, a Bachelors of IT degree (with specialization in network security) from Ontario Tech University (formerly known as UOIT), and a wealth of professional and hobbyist experience in various tech disciplines.

Right now I’m living in and loving London, Ontario (Canada) and am working remotely full time. If you’d like to get in touch, please feel free via the methods below.
